European and International Administrative Law and Governance

Research on EU and international administrative law and governance deals with a core feature of multilevel governance: the interaction of sub-national, national, supranational and international administrative actors in selected policy areas. The policy areas chosen for closer review have developed to be regulated in European and international forums rather than on the national level. The analysis intends to isolate rules and principles governing the developing structures of administrative law and governance in these policy areas. The goal is to gain a better understanding of the future challenges of public law in network structures.
