Clarke, Blanaid

Blanaid Clarke is an Associate professor of Corporate Law at the law school at University College Dublin where she teaches at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Corporate Governance, Corporate Finance Law, and Contract Law. She is a founding member of the Institute of Directors' Centre for Corporate Governance at University College Dublin and Academic Director for the Business and Legal Studies Degree, University College Dublin. Blanaid is a member of the Irish Takeover Panel Executive and has worked both at national and international level on the drafting and implementation of the EU Takeovers Directive. Her current area of research is the regulation of directors during takeover bids.
